My husband and partner in everything, John.

My daughter and friend, Fran.

My oldest son and all-around everything, Tom.

My second son, the sweetest of all, Charlie,

My youngest son and child, the Grand Inquisitor, Eddie.

My Mom and Dad, who made me and then created my world.

My family for being friends I’d choose, even if I didn’t have to.

My friends for being extra family.

Musicians everywhere for the peace, fun, and coping mechanisms they give me every day.

And skeptic that I am, God, for always being there, even when I doubt and don’t always appreciate.

Hi! I am Amy Kovach, mom of four kids, wife of John, ex-software engineer, and now, a blogger!

Funny I am calling myself that when I spent 20 years of cruising the internet, writing software for the internet, and learning from the internet, I totally ignored blogs the entire time!

Not sure why. Probably for the same reason that I refuse to get hooked on one more tv series. Once I’m into something, I’m borderline obsessed. This can be good, but it can also alter one’s existence.

So my girlfriend, Jen, looks at me and says these fateful words:

“You should write a blog!”

“What? Why?”

“Cause there are some cute, funny ones out there, but yours would rock.”

“Well, thanks!” But, HUH?

So it began. I researched for way too long (obsessive, remember?). Then, things began to churn in my head and I began to write. Being a lifetime reader, I have always been terrified of writing. I have read SO many amazing sentences put together by ridiculously great writers, that I’m sure whatever I write will pale in comparison. But, I could no longer control it.

So, I did it. I started a blog- for fun, for a place to put my thoughts, opinions, ideas, and general brain-diarrhea. Here we go!!!
